UC Berkeley Student Premed Advising Network

Who We Are
SPAN stands for Student Premedical Advising Network. We are an ASUC-funded organization at UC Berkeley. Like our name suggests, we advise premedical students at Cal, both in person and via email. We also have weekly informational meetings where we discuss aspects of the undergraduate premedical process (choosing a major, preparing for the MCAT, getting letters of recommendation, etc.), and also set up events such as Suture Clinics, Mock Medical School Interviews, and Q&A sessions with doctors, current medical students, and other professionals in the field.
Our goal is to be known to the Berkeley campus as a reliable resource for premed students at Cal. We try to create a support network for students by providing information and advice through info-sessions, various workshops, peer advisors, and professionals. For most up-to-date information, "like" and follow our Facebook page.
